No matter who we are of where we come from, we all deserve to have a decent life. We deserve to feel strength and stability day after day. We deserve to know we have the power to take care of ourselves and build our own futures. Through shelter, we empower. Because you, me, we - we're all humans. And everyone one of us deserves a fair chance. Your support gives families the opportunity to help themselves. Home-ownership allows families to save more, invest in education, live in healthier environments, and have more financial stability. It's the foundation for success and a better future.

You can support us through a one time gift, a matching gift (check with your employer to see if they do this), building materials and tools, a celebration gift (birthday, anniversary, etc,), a gift of real estate, a memorial gift, planned gifts/bequests, and monthly pledges. Good News Habitat for Humanity is blessed to have the support of  local and national individuals, businesses, and churches who provide donations of money, materials, and time. Through these donations we are able to continue to build decent, affordable housing in partnership with those in need and to help create a world where everyone has a decent place to live.

Individuals and businesses can also qualify for Indiana Tax Credits when donating through the Neighborhood Assistance Program. Each year Good News Habitat for Humanity, Inc. participates in the State of Indiana's Neighborhood Assistance Program (NAP). The State of Indiana grants us the right to sell tax credits to individuals and businesses who make financial contributions to Habitat through NAP. Any Indiana taxpayer who donates money to Habitat under the NAP program will receive a state income tax credit equal to 50% of their gift. To participate in this program you must donate at least $100 (for a $50 tax credit) to Good News Habitat for Humanity, Inc. The maximum donation is $50,000 (for a $25,000 tax credit). In addition, if you itemize deductions, 100% of your contribution is deductible on your Federal tax return. The program begins July 1st each year and ends when we sell out of our allocated tax credits. For more information visit our FAQ page.
